Damn tired lah. Walk so long to buy/find the presents before going to Terrence house. Spent so much effort on it thinking that it will be chosen by other people. In the end Jeremy got it..haha Okay lah, at least I would want him to get it the most. (PS:Lucky we found that lego notebook rather than you buying that $70 clock or an ipod shuffle GAN!)

Did that during 2007. My school gave us newspapers to read on a certain day every week. There was a small section where you can send your work and it will be shown inside. I submitted, few weeks later, I finally received an email about claiming the prize at their HQ(did'nt bother cus too much of a hassle.) But it was already holidays and I didn't get to see it on newspaper ):

3rd week of holiday already? Yeah.. Studio Project 1 was disappointing for me, slacked too much. I even skipped 2 days to see Tony ._. Gotta work hard in next semester~ So.. what have i been doing during hols? Recently kinda in a "drawing spree" as you can see from my previous posts. Hope this will continue until holiday ends.
Tony came back to Singapore! For a week during the last 2 weeks of Studio Project 1. I was really happy to see him. He seems to be more close to others. I may be just a working partner whom he can work well with. Who knows. I wish I can be a better person. He said a everytime he takes trip to Singapore is like a trip to the Chocolate Factory. Haha.
Semester 1 was a bummer, although there are few happy moments. But thinking back, what really is happiness? To laugh something off just to live life as it passes by, day by day. Mingling with friends just for the sake of not being alone. It's hard to appreciate things. The more you know of a person, their bad traits starts to show up infront of you. Every action has a motive, there's no such person with genuine feelings who will come to you unless there are benefits.
To be honest, it's a bitch. Everyone's in their own world, thinking they're better. Too much competition. Fighting each other without showing it. Acting friendly. Treat the workplace with respect. On the other hand, I have a problem with people being too friendly also. There's no unity at all. What happens to simple mutual respect? Why can't everyone just be truthful? Might as well make the best out of it eh?
My group made this during Semester 1. It's my concept. Was really pissed off when working with other people. What can I do? Get it over with. That's how the world works. Suck thumb. That aside, take a look at the video.

Well, can't really blame them, maybe I'm just being too old-minded. But hey, that's what I believe in. If you don't like it, you can go fuck yourself.
This is what I think of what Singaporeans mentality is like. Everyone wants the fastest shortcut to have a good life. They expect to give the least amount of effort and get as many rewards as possible. Even in my field, it's no wonder there's no successful animation industry in Singapore. How is that even possible? How are we going to breakthrough with that kind of mindset? Singaporeans are too pampered. Hell, I'm ready to eat grass for all I'd care. I'm proud for what I do. Maybe I'm not saying it right, but you get the gist of it.
